Chocolate Cheesecake with Fresh Strawberries

INGREDIENTS
1 cup Chocolate wafers (crumbled in food processor) 2 tablespoons Margarine (melted)
2 8-ounce packages Cream cheese (softened)
2⁄3 cup Sugar
2 Eggs (beaten)
1 6-ounce package Semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted)
1⁄4 teaspoon Almond extract
4 Fresh Strawberries (cut in half)
¼ cup Powered Sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350º F.
To make the crust, combine the chocolate wafer crumbs and the melted margarine in a bowl. Press the crumb mixture into a 9 inch springform pan and bake at 350º F for 10 minutes.
Take out and cool.
In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar at medium speed ‘til blended. Add them beaten eggs and almond extract and blend well.
Now, fold in the melted chocolate chips with a spoon and pour the mixture into the crust.
Arrange the fresh strawberries halves on top of the batter and bake the cake.
Bake at 350º F for around 45 minutes.
Take it out and let it cool before removing the rim.
Once the cake cooled, chill in yer frig.
Before serving, lightly dust the top with powdered sugar.
NOTES
When you’re ready to serve it up, add a dollop of freshly whipped whip cream if you'd like! Yum!
